It was a White Christmas!
A few days before Christmas, all of the Madsen family flew to Midland, Michigan to spend Christmas with my sister and her family (the Snows). We stayed there for about 6 days and then headed to Chicago for a couple nights before returning home. It was a really fun Christmas vacation full of fun, work, laughter, food, presents, music, hair braiding, shopping, snow fights and more! Most of all, it was just fun to be all together for a while. I love my family!
(Above) First flight to Michigan with these 2 cuties Jude got a hair cut from Aunt Stephy
Lots of time in the kitchen making yummy food and desserts. Jude is "helping" make sugar cookies with Grandma. What a good little baker he is!
And the stockings were hung by the chimney with care... all 12 of them!
Cutest little spaz ever!
All dressed for a good time in the snow with my boy!
Family vacation means family exercise class some mornings. And, yes, Stephanie is working out by playing "horse"with the boys. It's like weight lifting...count it!
Waited in line for over 2 hours to see Santa and the famous Santa House in Midland. Brrrr!
We're next in line! Finally! Jude and Josh loved it!
We're all in Santa's Sleigh.
Though shy at first, I think they really liked talking to Santa. Definitely on the Nice list!
We did a lot of this over the Christmas break. I think almost everyone was sick for part of the trip too, so that meant even more lounging and sleeping.
Snow day with these lovelies!
At Gino's Pizza place in Chicago. You can write on the walls everywhere and the deep dish pizza was so yummy! I'm a thin crust, Italian style-girl usually, but it was still a delicious experience!
Steven's hair is getting so long, that I actually was able to put corn rows in! Crazy boy!
The whole family at the Bean. Mike and Matt and Teague are there too, but I don't have that picture.
Mom and I took the boys out for icecream one night while everyone else was at the Bulls game. Such good little boys. I never get sick of them! So fun!
*More Christmas vacation pictures to come....Dad! I need the rest of the pics! To be continued...
