This year, we spent Thanksgiving with my family in California. All my siblings and their families were there, and we got to spent almost a whole week together. It is always a fun-filled week with a lot of shopping and eating and staying up late when we all get together. We even did a couple of work out sessions all together (at least the girls did) out in the front yard. There were a few cold days, but some really warm ones too, which were so welcome coming from cold Utah. We took family pictures outside on probably the coldest day there, but at least it wasn't raining/snowing. Elsie wouldn't smile for even one of those pictures, but I guess you can't blame her when it's cold and she had just woken up from a nap. Some places that we always go when we're in Redding: Los Gordos for the best Mexican food in the world, Cookies and Yogurt for the yummiest frozen yogurt and fresh baked cookies around, and Macy's because my mom is their best customer and always has a coupon. We rode the mopeds/motorcycles a little too, although I'm still not sure I approve of my parents owning them... too dangerous! It was a fun trip. We have so much to be grateful for in our family, and I'm most grateful for the people in it!
First, a few pictures from home in Utah. Pretty in pink:
Playing with hats at Grandma Parker's. Snuggles with Aunt Julia. We love that she lives close.
Little nerd. She loves trying on our glasses. "Helping" Daddy put together a compost bin:
Elsie loves driving her cars:
And so begins that Redding trip for Thanksgiving:

Jam session with Julia:
My parent's house is so pretty!
Can't get enough rides on the mule!
Bath time in Grandma and Grandpa's big jacuzzi tub is the best!
Forced cousin hugs are the best! But really, these two are pretty cute together.
Hot tubbing with the big kids!...we turned the temp down to an appropriate degree...don't panic!
