February 2016

Learning to pray - she is so cute about it....for the few seconds that she can actually sit still.

All ready to go outside...loves her fireman hat! and watching her current favorite movie - Cinderella
All dresses are now called "Lella dresses" because they are like Cinderella's dress.

My little busy body is into everything that is reachable. She loves taking the cans out of the pantry and stacking them or carrying them around. She's also had fun pulling all of my pantry labels off that are within her reach. So much for organization!

Play date with Abby and Ivy. These girls are so lucky to have each other so close by. They live only 20 min away.

So fun all the time!

Grandma and Grandpa just can't stay away - visit number 2 for 2016. This time for Megan Madsen's wedding.

Here's the happy couple! Megan is such a cutie!

We took turns chasing her around the Salt Lake Temple grounds. She loved crunching the snow under her little feet.

After luncheon snooze on the floor while all the grown ups talk. I love that she can pretty much fall asleep anywhere still.

Old piano from the Pioneer days - I think it was Brigham Young's. My mom couldn't resist getting a picture with it - we were at the wedding luncheon in the Joseph Smith Building on Temple Square.

My mom, trying to make sure nothing goes to waste....so typical Mom...love ya!

BYU men's volleyball game with our little cheerleader! She loved climbing up and down the bleachers the best. We loved seeing our old San Jose friends and one of BYU's best players, Jake, play an awesome game!

Perfect Sunday curls and sips from Grandma's drink

Elsie is a wonderful signer! She's talking more now, but still likes to learn new signs. Here she is doing the sign for "doctor" while she waits for the doctor to come evaluate my wrist again.

Silly baby - loves that costume and green smoothies! It's the only way to get enough vegetables into her!

Love those pigtail ringlets!

And those eye lashes!....

My niece, Hannah, let me do her hair and makeup for a school dance. She's got long, thick, blond, beautiful hair and it was so fun to play dress up with her! I love having so many nieces!

Elsie loves to hold and pester our little neighbor baby Fiona. She's not even that much smaller than Elsie, but she loves to treat her like her little baby... it's really funny and cute!

Aunt Stephy started an obsession with having nails and toes always painted - Elsie has not grown out of it. She loves to have them painted and wear dresses and be so girly all the time.

More play time with cousins.

Grandma Parker had surgery on her foot and got a little visit while resting one day. How could these kids not brighten your day?!!!

Play date with Emmy (Cortney and Rob Clarke's little girl). They are so cute with their babies and chairs. She's still parallel playing with friends, not much collaboration there yet, but they seem to have fun playing along side each other...as long as there is 2 of everything important.

Young Women's activity at the roller rink. These ladies are way fun and awesome leaders!
I roller bladed and pushed Elsie in her stroller. She loved it, and wanted to be out on the floor with all the kids....maybe some day little one.

Look at my little shopper. She loves to be in charge of anything and this little cart was probably the highlight of her day. It took a little longer to get the shopping done, but it was so fun!

Dress up is so fun!

Love this dress that Grandma Sara made. It's a perfect "Lella dress" cause is twirls well and is long.

My little musician:

My little shadow and snuggle buddy:

Gotta get every last drop!

drawing with chalk with the neighbor girl Audrey. She considers every kid on the block her friend, no matter their age or size. She's a little social butterfly.

Elder's Quorum No-Rules Pinewood Derby....some really fun/creative cars! Mike used CO2 cartridges and his car flew!

Hanging with the Slichta family while Mom works one day. I used to babysit these kids and now they are watching my daughter....so funny how that works out. They're the cutest family!

Play time at the park with Julia. We love having her close by at BYU. Swings are Elsie's absolute favorite!

Ok, these snapchat face swap pics were just too funny not to post. See if you can guess who is who?

I love how she reaches up and says "Mommy, hold you!" when she wants to be held. So cute!

Grandma came out again for the end of February and Julia's birthday. When we're all together, that usually means eating a bunch of delicious sweets (like Kneader's french toast) and doing little work outs that we find on pinterest or somewhere to burn off the calories.

And, of course, there must be some shopping!

Ikea shopping for closet organizer stuff. Elsie was perfectly content to watch a show on the iPhone in this little cubby. So funny.
